Our black drop cane bolt is made of solid steel with a black powder-coated finish, making it resistant to oxidation and durable for long-term outdoor use. It attaches directly to the gate frame to help prevent your gate from dragging.
The gate drop rod is designed for securing single or double doors and gates in the open or closed position. The bolt can be locked in the raised/open position. This product is ideal for use with wood, metal, iron, or vinyl gates.
Installation is easy, with instructions and all mounting screws provided. The fence drop pin is designed for vertical or horizontal applications, and you only need to install 8 self-drilling screws to fix the 2 brackets to the gate fence sides.
The cane bolts help anchor a gate to the ground, providing stability and protecting your gate system from moving around in the wind, which can be hazardous. The rod diameter is 1/2" and the length is 12", while the screws are 1" long. This product is suitable for installation on gates with a thickness of 1-1/2" or more.
