It is hinge-mounted to fit all doors and is made from strong carbon steel. The product works with 3" to 4-1/2" residential hinges with a 1/4" diameter pin, but users should ensure compatibility before purchase.
It is important to note that the Door Saver 2 requires at least a 1/4 inch space between the trim and the hinge barrel to prevent the device from damaging the trim.
